The Dickens Inn: Reviews & Ratings
What a gem of a pub in a brilliant location! The Dickens Inn is a large, characterful spot right on St. Katharine Docks, perfect for a relaxed pint with a view. Had a lovely glass of Orchard Thieves cider—cold, crisp, and absolutely hit the spot. The service was quick and genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Great atmosphere, plenty of space, and a perfect place to unwind.
A fairly large pub! Spread over several floors, there are seating areas both inside and outside on the balconies. Especially in summer, it’s a great spot to catch the last rays of sunshine. The beer selection is relatively extensive, offering both local and international options. The food includes traditional local dishes as well as a range of burgers. A number of screens show live sports events. You order food via an app, and drinks are picked up at the bar. All in all, it might be a nice place — and given the location, it's naturally popular with tourists.
Had a wonderful experience today at The Grill at The Dickens Inn. Was given an excellent table outside with a good view of the Tower Bridge and dined on their scotch egg and Bloody Mary (spicy just how I like it!) which were both amazing. I recommend requesting Moon as a server if you can. He was very attentive and welcoming, and checked in on me many times to make sure I was having a good time. Strong recommend if you're looking for a filling meal with a good atmosphere.
